COVID POLICY UPDATE STARTING MAY 24, 2022 -- IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION

Update May 16, 2022 -- COVID Policy Update starting May 24, 2022 -- Important Notification
The Port Credit Skating Club continues to monitor the impact that COVID has on our programming and coaches, and we will continue to respond as required.
The club continues to follow all Peel Public Health guidelines related to COVID; you can find the most up to date guidelines here: https://www.peelregion.ca/coronavirus/prevention/#risk
With the start of the Spring Session, masking will no longer be mandatory; however, we do continue to strongly encourage all skaters to wear a medical grade mask to protect themselves and others on the ice.
Please be aware that for many of our coaches, coaching at the club is their only source of income, and being sick and unable to coach impacts their livelihood. As a result, they may ask skaters to wear a mask during private lessons, and/or they may maintain physical distancing from unmasked skaters. Our coaches are all professionals who care for your children and they will continue to coach to the best of their ability.
We ask that you continue to screen for symptoms prior to coming to the rink. Skaters who display any possible COVID symptoms may be asked to either wear a mask or to leave the ice.
As a reminder, should you or a family member be exposed to, or test positive for, COVID, we ask that you follow the Ontario guidelines for quarantining and masking. Current guidelines can be found here: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/exposed?utm_source=mobile-app-organic&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=covid-alert-mobile-app-english&utm_content=covidalertapppage-text#symptoms
Thank you for your help and cooperation.
