OFF ICE SESSIONS
This Program introduces specific off-ice classes that are designed to safely and effectively warm-up a skater prior to on-ice skating and teach jump technique that complements on-ice instruction.
The Skate Canada “Long Term Athlete Development Model” recommends Off-Ice Conditioning for all levels of skating as an integral part of a skater’s development. It will be taught by qualified coaching staff from the Port Credit Figure Skating Club.
Skaters are expected to wear athletic clothing and athletic footwear to participate in off-ice training.
Off Ice sessions take place on Wednesdays and Sundays. Please see our website under "Registration" for current fees and full details.
